As a parent, you must put together different ideas to celebrate your child’s party every year. A particular idea which has spring to mind is a Scooby Doo party as it is different and the activities you could have for children are limitless. You could do some puzzle games such as the one available from Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles. This particular activity is not just fun but also helpful for children too. You may even beautify an area of your home with a Scooby Doo mystery machine to incorporate much more thrills to the party.
I used this particular theme during my kid’s fifth birthday party because he liked to tell ghost stories and hunt them down as well. I actually asked a caterer to provide food that were appropriate to the theme such as dog-bone shaped cookies that have some yellow and brown frosting, pizza, and cupcakes with clip arts attached on the frosting. The caterer also made a cake with a Scooby Doo mystery machine on it.
For the decorations, I used brown, yellow and green paper to add color to the seats as well as ceiling of the home. The balloons were likewise of the identical colour. With the assistance of my better half, we were ready to make a life-size Scooby Doo out of cardboard paper and put it on the door of the house. The music which my husband downloaded from the web was basically the theme songs from the program Scooby Doo.
We planned a lot of activities which we knew the kids would truly enjoy. Considering the fact that Scooby Doo enjoys searching for ghouls, we planned to have a scary mystery quest wherein kids were split into 2 or 3 groups and for every clue that was solved, the team would get prizes such as treats and candies.A jigsaw puzzle contest was also thought out and we all ordered Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles. Then, the kids got ready for the piñata, which was formed like a bone.
It was definitely a Scooby Doo party worth remembering. Kids and parents alike loved the idea of a Scooby Doo themed party. For this reason, I’m preparing the same theme as requested by my child and more activities for his 6th birthday party.
